My family is leaning to buy this car but were not sure if it's worth it. Is maintenance crazy expensive? Is it a good car in general? Does it take a lot of gas? Apparently the brakes suck. Helppppp

Indeed it is a good and reliable car. It is based on the updated FM platform that is shared with the Infiniti M series. The engine (VQ35HR) offers more horsepower than ever (306) and is more economical in gas mileage owing to a dual-path air intake. Other accessories and features, such as electrically actuated variable valve timing, have also played a role in boosting the performance and making the vehicle more efficient. The interior in sedan showcases adjustable power-seat side bolsters (to make the seat narrower or wider), navigation, and of course, a Bose audio system that cranks out 374 watts.

It's a good car. Good reliability scores, good build quality, average fuel economy (not good but not bad), and maintenance won't be that bad since it's basically a Nissan, it shares some components as the Z cars.
