The 1st generation Infiniti G35 sedan & coupe ran its production Line in 2003-2006 (sedan) 2003-2007 (coupe). The Infiniti G35 sedan is a Luxury compact sedan which meant it was a passenger car with 4 doors while its DNA brother the G35 coupe was more of a Luxury sport performance 2 door vehicle. Some differences between the G35 sedan & coupe consist in exterior, Interior design as well as performance. When the G35 sedan first came out into production it produced 260 HP from the years 2003-2004 until it was revised in 2005 when it received an additional 20-horsepower boosting it to 280 HP, the 2005-2006 G35 sedans where also facelifted and tweaked a bit. The 2003-2007 Infiniti G35 coupes produced 280 HP as an automatic transmission and 298 HP as a Manual Transmission (6MT). The G35 coupes and sedans was refreshed inside and out in 2005. The interior was given sportier gauges with better backlighting and higher quality trim and knobs. Genuine aluminum trim replaces "tinted" interior trim, and the dash and center console layout were revised. Rosewood trim becomes available as a package on the 2005 models. MP3/WMA playback was added to the now standard 6 disc in-dash CD player, and the cassette player was removed. Although the G sedans and coupes where tweaked they still stayed exactly the same in terms of design until 2007 when the entirely redesigned Infiniti G sedan came into production which is the 2007-2010 G35/G37 sedans we see on the roads today. The Newely redesigned G37 coupe came out in 2008 with a 330 HP engine while the new sedan recieved a 306 HP engine till it was revised in 2009 and given a 328 HP engine. =)
